Prioritize Tasks & Avoid Multitasking
Invariably, some dead space of the meeting time doesn’t concern you and that tempts you to shuffle between the tabs, make grocery list, and respond to mails and messages. When you’re not paying attention during that time space, it stresses you more to catch up on all the details discussed between that time and loads you unnecessarily.

Conduct/Participate Only When Absolutely Necessary
Always communicate clearly and explicitly with your team members over chats, messages, calls, and emails with specific mention of goals, challenges, and outcomes of the tasks. Hold a video call or meeting only when it is absolutely necessary. Having clear and crisp communication with all the stakeholders will make sure there is lesser in-video requirement.
Explore Other Ways of Demonstrating
Most in-person video meetings are held only to demonstrate how something works or a process in video. if you take some moments aside and create clippings or videos of a process with or without voiceover, it would save you a considerable amount of time every time the said process sis brought up. There is also an added benefit of capturing the short videos is that your team embers can always refer them back when required and attend to when they’re in a fresh mind.
Restrict the Scheduled Meeting Timings
The ideal time for a meeting shouldn’t be more than 25 minutes and any longer than that is only going to drain the meeting participants. Make sure your meeting agenda is ready well in advance and already shared with the participants before the meeting starts. Also, if there are no questions at the end of the meeting, cut it short and give them back their time.
